Weekend in Enterprise

It seems like the only time I update my livejournal is when I'm home at my parents house in Enterprise, AL. This weekend was good. I got to see both of my dad's sisters. Well one just lives down the street, but my other aunt came down from Richmond, VA for a week. So I to see her, my uncle and two of my cousins. Actually it's my cousin Eddie's two girls.

I worked on my car on Sunday and today. Sunday I cleaned it out. Which it BADLY needed. Got the trunk cleaned out and vacumned so you can actually put stuff back there. And I reconnected my speakers and AMP in the trunk which had come unplugged I guess during my accident back in Feb. Then I washed it. Which it needed just as bad. Then today I replaced the disc brakes and rotors on the front of my car. Which also was badly needed. Hopefully the first of the month I can purchase two new tires for the front. As both of them have about 50,000 miles on them. Not much else has gone on. Probably going to get a shower and then head back to Mobile around 2 today. Try and beat some of the afternoon traffic..but that prolly won't happen since traffic is bad in Mobile all the time. Whoever designed the infrastructure of that city needs to be raised from the dead and shot. There is no plan as to how the traffic should flow..it's just bumper to bumper on the busy roads and is very dangerous. I for one prefer a city that has a circle around it. Like Dothan, AL, or Enterprise, AL...heck I'd go as far as to say that Montgomery, AL is better than Mobile...and that's saying a lot since I despise driving in Montgomery too. Atleast with a circle you have most of your businesses on the circle or off roads that connect to the circle. In Mobile, you have 3 main streets (Airport, Government, and Schillinger) that carry most of the traffic in the city. It's a mad house. The only time I feel comfortable on Airport is at 2 a.m. :)

Well that's all my rambling for today.

Comment on your traffic problems if you want. :)
