I swear, we must be in the "young, defenseless girls get raped" unit in English class. Rape is so disgusting and cruel. Everytime I hear a story about someone getting raped it is so terrifying. I think that's just about the worst thing that I could imagine ever happening to me. It could be a complete stranger that catches sight of you in the dairy aisle, or it could be your own dad. Either way, that's rough. I don't know what I would do if anyone ever came after me like that. I wouldn't be able to protect myself, of that I am very sure (maybe I should try taebo or something, lift a few weights, just in case I ever need to fend away a predator or two). It's so degrading. I think I would feel unclean. I don't want my first time to be violently forced upon me!
I've imagined many times what I would do in the unlikely situation, and I realize that my only hope would be for some good sumeritan to happen to prance his way into the room at the right moment.
