Yay for snow! Yay for play practice being cancelled! Yay for everything being pretty and white! Yay for the dream of a two-hour delay tomorrow!
I saw the saddest thing on Oprah today. In Congo there's this war going on, and the rebel soldiers sneek into villages and rape the women. That's how they attack. They pillage and they rape. And sometimes they force men to rape their wives or mothers! And they don't just rape the women, they gang rape the women! This one woman said that she had eight men on her at once and that "her belly was very full." So then I got to thinking... just how many can a girl get up there? Just how many people were in her? That's probably a stupid question, or at least a terribly insensitive one, considering the subject. So then I thought about that old tootsie-roll commercial...
"How many dicks does it take to get to the center of a woman from Congo?"
"I don't know. Let's find out. Ah-onnnnne, ah-twooooooo, ah-threeeee. Ah-three."
That is so sad.
I was in a really good mood today. I felt fantastic all day long. I don't know what it was, but I was feeling incredible. Maybe it was that extra sleep. Man, two-hour-delays are great.
