First, I have to comment on Naruto... lucky! How do you get 110 episodes? I know this sounds nerdy, but I've been trying forever, and I've only got 61. Naruto is probably the best serial (over 60 episode) anime I have ever seen, and props for seeing (almost) the whole thing.

Most profound truth I've witnessed this year... hm... You pose a tough question. I've been exposed to so much 'truth,' I could spew hundreds of platitudes and chips of wisdom from 'motivational' books... but what have I witnessed?

If anything, it's this: it is better to Be, than to Have, to Know, or to Hold. It is better to be the keenest swordsman than to have the keenest sword. It is better to be graceful than to know how to dance. And it is better to be a champion than to hold the title. It is better that no one know for sure how keen, graceful, or mighty you are, and still be that person, than to have the external results of that achievement. A keen sword is worthless off of the battlefield, but the keen swordsman is always aware, always at the ready, and always dangerous. The perfect dance is only beautiful on the dance floor, but a graceful person projects their power whenever they move. And a title may awe the ignorant, but the champion has the respect and camraderie of his fellow champions.
