Went to London with my mom for a long weekend, made over 700 photos, here's a selection *grins*.

Thursday, July 4th: Ferry from Hoek van Holland
Been wanting to make one of these flat coin souvenirs of the Ferry for years; this time I finally came prepared with a Euro and a five cent piece for both me and my mom, such FUN!
Deconstructed my own meat dish to separate the vegetables, which went great with my mom's meal :-p
Bye, Hoek van Holland harbour, hello Sunset.
View from the topbunk:)
Friday, July 5th: Arrival in London!
Ferry arrived at 06:30 at the Harwich International Train Station where we got on the train to LiverpoolStreet Station, London.
We had breakfast at Russel Square Park.
A bee/bug hotel in the park!
Walking through London.
Walked through Carnaby Street and Regent Street.
Very expensive teashop TWG near Leicester Square.
Destination: Cockfosters. Never not funny :'-D
We exhanged vegetables again for dinner: mushy peas to go with my Chicken Pie and mash, fried veggies to go with my mom's fancy Fish & Chips. (Dessert: rhubarb crumble and Lemon Tard/pie)
Taking the Tube to the Tower of London. (Note to self: do not change underground at Bank again, So.Much.Walking.)
After some quick photographs, we get on board for a special sunset cruise on the River Thames.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the two of us with Tower Bridge in the background.
At sunset, there's a moviescreen set up on the boat and we all get headphones to watch Movies on the River.
(Lalaland is on the screen, but honestly: the sunset is so much more amazing to watch;)

*happy sigh* What a night. We take the Tube back to the hotel (not via Bank, but a longer route with more changes, but less walking;).
It's already after midnight, but of course I still make time for a bubblebath. Good night, London. <3
Saturday, July 6th: Covent Garden & Harrods
My faaaaavorite breakfast *hearteyes* (I donated my tea to my mom;)
We love the carpet in the fancy MeetingPlace restaurant.
Around 10 a.m.: off to Covent Garden!
From Covent Garden we take the Tube to Knightsbridge where we spend the afternoon in Harrods:)
We stroll through the store for hours until our reservation for a Harrods High Tea, with delicous sandwiches and pastries. *drools*
After our long and fancy schmanzy High Tea, we do a final bit of shopping at Harrods (not this darling elephant, sadly too big to bring along;)
In the evening: China Town & Piccadilly
There's still a massive crowd left from the Pride Parade this afternoon when we stroll into Chinatown.
Hot and sweet Taiyaki; little fried dough fish with a vanilla filling, mmmmm.
We walk to Fortnum & Mason in PiccadillyStreet; recommended by FiercelyNormal, what a treasure trove warehouse!
We have a quiet night back at the hotel where we share Krispy Kreme donuts and a strawberry banana smoothy before my bubblebath:)
Sunday, July 7th: Camden Market & Train home
Last English Breakfast before we leave our luggage at the hotel and get on the doubledecker bus up North to...
Camden Lock Market \o/
I love the Camden Stables and how they kept so much of the original buildings.
This new building is filled with sewing machines!
Camden shopfronts *chinhands*
Around 14:30 (2.30 p.m.) we go back to the hotel to pick up our bags)
Tube to St. Pancras International station.
Through customs (a ridiculous hassle) to get to the Eurostar direct train from London to Rotterdam)
Then a last bit of train home. Loot!
We had an awesome time.
The End.
J.
