Hey, remember that design project I got at work two weeks ago? The bosslady showed the result to upper management and they were so enthused they now want a poster of their own and they want it FAST. So that's the rest of my week at work planned...
Got a little behind on work-out updates due to fandom fun, so before I catch y'all up on the exercises, here are links to my recently posted artwork!
Papier-mâché and papercut art for the Reverse_Bang featuring shifters bear!Jeff, deer!Jensen and pink!unicorn!Jared
(includes behind the scenes picspam;)
Paperporn for the SMPC! an NC-17 scene between (human) Jeff/Jensen/Jared as a sexy follow up to the above shifter story.
(Also includes a making of *grins*)
Last but not least: I opened another round of the MatchMakerChallenge in the
quicky_bang artcommunity in which I hand out short surprise fics to art for. Come over if you want to play:
pick a date in March and choose to art with a 1, 2 or 3 week deadline...
Right, onwards to the Age of Pandora:
Chapter 29-32 (spoilers for exercises and story)
Chapter 29 (Sat. March 4)
Dealing with the Beta creatures involves a lot of running, so of course we have to do High Knees again. I'm getting braver about them and I actually like the combination with jumping jacks and hop heel clicks. I learned that swinging your arms with the hop heel clicks makes them easier and more fun :-)
That would have been a good work out by itself, but seeing as I have to climb a tree in the story, there's a part two with 100 climbers! You were allowed to split them into manageable sets and I figured I'd try to see how many I could do in one go. I managed 70! So the last batch of 30 felt like dessert;)
I'm amazed how far I've come in the past year; from barely managing slow climbers to this \o/
Chapter 30 (Sun. March 5)
The halfway point of the 60 day challenge, I can't believe we're already there! Unfortunately it's not a very exciting work-out; I don't understand this thing at all. It's all variaties of shoulder chops which are quite frankly boring as hell. I decide to give myself a break and quit after three sets even though level 1 is supposed to be five. I just couldn't be bothered (had a bit of a stupid day handling taxes, that may have had something to do with my mood;)
But when I get a choice at the end of the chapter of course I opt to move on to part 2. I'm not gonna let Pandora get me down!
Chapter 31 (Mon. March 6)
First day of the second half and we're going back to the Mountain Men, that sounds promising *grins*. Who knew you could do so many different moves with planks? I did 3 sets (Level 1) with 10 repeats each (Level 3;)
Single arm and leg raises were fine, but the alternate arm/leg combo made me wobble and I couldn't stop giggling over my own inadequacy;) The slow and regular climbers were no problem, but the climber tabs turned out to be a lot harder than I thought.
I made it to the meeting of the Mountain Men eventually though!
Chapter 32 (Tue. March 7)
What a bunch of jerks! What happened to my Mountain Men friends? These Elders are not nice at all. They freaking threw me out of their camp?! So when I found out a Beta had broken through their defences I chose not to warn them. That'll teach them not to listen to me. Stupid Mountain Men.
Of course then I got attacked by a Beta myself, but I fought him off, ha!
I love the boxing exercises \o/
Also: I feel I'm finally getting a handle on push ups; I managed to go a lot deeper today!
Yay!
Now I wonder if going with option A will bite me in the ass tomorrow. We'll see what happens with the Betas and the Mountain Men.... Dundundunnnn.
