My Birthday Picspam!
Before I really start the new year on LiveJournal, I'm looking back on 2016 one more time, because little over a week ago it was MY BIRTHDAY! (Day after Christmas;) Special thanks to sillie82, amberdreams and tanisafan who sent me presents to unwrap as soon as I woke up *smishes*
Here are pictures of my presents, my party and... the cakes. I had made Arretjes Cake but had also ordered a cake which turned out to have the most precious little feet:
Before I sat down for the presents, I decorated the table with candy and I put out the Arretjes Cake. Besides my signature cake, I also made cupcake shapes with raisins:)
I sampled one of the Arretjes Cupcakes while opening sillie82's big box of presents.
Happy 47th birthday to meeeeeeeeeeee \o/
So many goodies! Can't thank you enough, sillie82! Also cute DIY sheets and adorable notebook from amberdreams and a book from tanisafan.
Here's the cake I ordered: a frog prince! There's a candle hidden behind the crown:)
I added the 47 candles to the cake
(It was quite hard to find a 7 because most shops only sell numbers up to #5, tsk tsk)
My family singing Lang Zal Ze Leven, while my nephew and I wait to blow out the candles.
Before we went out for dinner my nephew and my brother opened a bottle of Minion Bubbly. Popping the cork was very exciting, they did a good job :-D
Aaaaahw, all that was left of the cake (my next day breakfast *g*)
I also really enjoyed all the birthday wishes on Twitter, in PMs and LiveJournal. Thanks to everyone who thought of me, I had a marvelous Birthday:)
On to the next!
