Sources & Credits TT
First of all I have to thank Dutch theatre company Levend Lijf (Living Body) for the marvelous poster they made with puppetparts of performer Danny Molenaar. I used that neat design as an example for my worksheets.
The storyline for my artwork and the clothes of the puppets came from the awesome film Team America: World Police (The style of that film was of course influenced by the classic puppet series Thunderbirds:)
I recommend this excellent clip of The Making of Team America.
If you thought I made up the blowjob, think again: it's stolen straight from the film! There is even full on puppet sex \o/ (fyi: het) - That was partially censored in the theatrical release. Go figure. So much for 'putting the "F" back in freedom';)
Quotes were doublechecked at IMDB and then tweeked to fit my characters.
Transcripts of full songs from the OST were found on STlyrics.com; I adjusted text to fit my characters:)
Original poster vs. my version
I made the Team Texas logo in Photoshop, the flag of Texas was found at
Pearlsnapdiscount wordpress and the dusty sand is a still from the film.
In addition to my own photos of the film playing in the background (I own the SE-DVD;) I found high resolution stills on the following sites:
Moviescreenshots blogspot | Paramount.Inpromo.de | Cineplex.com | My New Plaid Pants blogspot
(I used those to dress the guys in the right uniforms; I did add some personal touches of course,
did you notice Jared's bling-belt and Jensen's thigh holster?)
The bodies of J3 were manipulated from different photos; why can't they just pose like a puppet with open arms and legs, huh? Anyway, here are some of the sites I added to my long list of picture-archives (check out my source-tag for more links)

While I was working on my final photos I discovered Jared had geeked out over Team America at the DCcon Gold panel! He told a story about wanting to recreate the freedom scene at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington and asking Genevieve to take a picture of him in front of it. Talk about happy making coincidence :-D That loveable dork. (It's at the beginning of this video (he refers to the film again a little later;)

The images of Jeff, Jensen and Jared came from my picture archive, build from years of browsing. You can find the latest celeb-sources above, or check previous source posts for more links to photo-sites I happily collected from.
Jeff's photo is from an unknown shoot; all the Jensen & Jared posing in their suits are from PaleyFest 2011; desperate Jared and grumpy Jensen are from a look behind the scenes of Supernatural; Jared waving his broken arm around is from the September 2006 CW danceparty;)
Charles II's Bedchamber (that is featured in the wip-section) was found on the UK Mind The Gap BLOG
All the texts and headings came from only three magazines; there are not many English language glossies available in my town and none whatsoever that actually feature J3. *grins* The woman playing the (step)mom is a model from an ad, I couldn't find her name. (With the whole mess of papercuts I wasn't able to trace back what ad she was in, oops) The articles are from either:
- People, No. 19, May 12, 2014 (Vol. 81)
- J-14, Issue 6, May/June 2014 (Vol. 16)
- Hello!, No. 1328, May 19, 2014
I'll leave it up to you to guess which of these the different gossip belongs to;)
