You already know how much I adore all of this, but it's worth appreciating again all the wonderful things you produced for my little story. I love the minimalist appraoch you chose for the boys in the main banner, it works so well with their faces like that. It is perfectly *them* you clever gal you! I especially love sick Jared leaning on the door frame. That is *exactly* how I saw him.. *and* you made me crackling neurons for dividers!! And pancakes!!

Seriously awesome, my friend, I am so grateful this challenge has helped us find each other.

Thank you for all your kind words and of course your inspirational story. I could picture Jared like that perfectly because YOU wrote it;) Wanting to make fitting illustrations motivated me to keep going through the stupid finger accident. I'm very happy it all worked out in the end and I'll treasure this lovely story.

I'm finally back (thank god for weekends!). :)

I do love the banner and the minimalistic style you chose. I adore Jared leaning against the doorway, his hands in his pockets and his bare feet! And his t-shirt!!! Focusing on Jared was a great choice and I like that Jensen is focused on Jared.

I really like the dividers. They're perfect and cute (are crackling neurons cute? yes, yes they are!).

And yay that you were able to do another paper cutout. Jared's pout is ridiculously precious and that you used that for the cutout piece. And you used it again for the book cover.

Eeeeeee pancakes!!!! I love me some pancakes and yours looks so delicously yummy. Who could resist them?

And ll the pretty icons!!

Such an awesome job, honey!!! Again, let me just say that your talent astounds me. You are so creative and thoughtful with your choices of medium and how best to compliment a story.

You made my day with this extensive comment! *treasures* Thank you so much for taking the time to look at everything and giving me all these lovely compliments. I was very happy to claim such a sweet story and to find an author that was patient with me while I figured out what I wanted to do. I'm also ridiculously pleased with how the artwork looks in her journal.

I signed up for spn_cinema as my next project, there will be artwork for that in May. Before that there was supposed to be the john_w_bigbang but claiming for that has been postponed and dates are now a bit unclear plus there are only a few fics to choose from, so sadly I may have to pass on that. But I'm very excited about the film I picked for spn_cinema and I'm preparing to try a new technique yet again. *rolls up sleeves* Dundundunnnnn.

Hah! Brilliant! I love the grainy textures you used for the main Jard pic and it's nice to know other people trace over reference pics because I still feel a bit weird about doing it myself.

I love your paper cut of Jared's pouty face! I think the source for that was a Chicon photo op (maybe wolfpup2000 because she often gets great photo ops of them on their own doing stuff)

Thank you :-) It was fascinating to try different filters to find the perfect wall-structure and such.

Hey, tracing is good practice to get familiar with real life shapes and even if you don't feel the need to learn a more freehand style of drawing in the future, as long as you are having fun fiddling, you shouldn't feel weird! Everyone should be able to enjoy their own creative outlet without embarrassment;)

You may be right about the pouty picture. I'll check her posts. Although it's weird that it didn't turn up on Google, that's usually such a handy search-tool.

Ohhh, I see how you seekritly did Two Things, and I approve *g*. Wish I'd been able to see the brand spankin' (heh) new Jared paper cut-out portrait in real life, but this already looks super cool. I can't believe how good the pout looks!

I also really, really love the minimalistic banner style because that is exactly my kind of thing. Even without 'details' like facial expression, they still come across through their posture and stuff and uuugh. I am bad at words. But I love it a lot!! <3
