I smell like a tart \o/

After the disappointment of finding out about the loss of my favorite toothpaste* I've had a fun packed week. (Even work was pretty cool, especially when I found out my new intern has read all the Harry Potter books. He already scored points for that;)

On Tuesday I had taken a day off to finally get that massage I wanted to plan since last October. But I had used up all my free time on the Harry Potter Marathon and concerts ( Panic! at the Disco in Berlin, Tim Minchin in London), and when I finally had time, I broke my arm, which is not very pleasant if you want to relax. But now that my arm is mostly functioning like it should again I made an appointment. (I now measure improvements in weeks rather than days, because I still can't do everything, but I do sense it's slowly getting back to normal).
Long story short -too late- IT WAS MARVELOUS. This woman I found really knows her stuff and I had another perfect massage. It was mm-mm-good; it's quite difficult to not moan from satisfaction. I spent the rest of the day chilling and reading:)

On Thursday I received my new scents from The Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. Even though I'm a bit miffed that they discontinued my favorite scent, I couldn't resist ordering a bunch of samples to see if I can find a suitable replacement. I also bought a whole bottle of Bliss (Bewitching Brews) for comfort (it smells like chocolate:).**
In the evening my mom came over for dinner and everything I cooked turned out edible (dare I say delicious, even!) The dessert she picked was good too (yoghurt with walnuts and honey) We went to the Arthouse for Black Swan, which we both enjoyed (good to see a film in which women play the best parts). Oh, she also had brought me a present from her trip to Amsterdam: two very fancy bonbons in a tiny box.

On Friday I had dinner at my neighbour's; he made spagetti "a la Rich" and it was great to not have to cook for myself for a change (it tasted great too;). I had brought dessert (mandarine mousse with orange sauce:). We talked a lot; he had announced he needed potential relationship advice, but I obviously waited until after dinner to let him know I have no knowledge on the subject what-so-ever *g*. Luckily we had plenty of other subjects to chat about since we are both film-nerds;) We also finally sat down for a bit of a Sliders-marathon up on the big screen in my attic; we watched episodes 1-4. I have to admit the special effects were a bit dodgy, but the characters are still delightful and the adventures were funny and nervewracking! I hope we can get together and continue with that soon.

This weekend I finally made some progress with my artwork for the spn_cinema challenge. I mostly fiddled with Jeff and Jensen yesterday and today I did some pen and pencil sketching (although I may end up not using those;)

So yeah, I'm feeling pretty good about myself at the moment. \o/

*If anyone on the flist comes across it in their country, I'd love to hear about it! Please mail or message me if you can get your hands on Colgate Max Fresh Clean Mint (the green sparkly one), tnx:)

**I'm wearing "Drink Me" from the Mad Tea Party set. It smells delicious, according to the descripton: "cherry-tart, custard, pine-apple, roast turkey, toffee, and hot buttered toast"! (I mostly smell the tart and toffee:o)
