update
time its been quite awhile since my last update so heres another...I found out some pretty unnerving news a few days ago, Al Mcdonnell (sp?) an old childhood friend of mine apparently commited suicide last tuesday, I hadnt really seen or talked to him since junior high, and even then only a few times...but in gradeschool he could have been considered a best friend. Its just really weird...I dont quite know how to feel emotionally about it and it hasnt really sunk in yet entirely but I'v been having some kinda memories/flashbacks and its just really weird to think that he's gone...
Other big news in my life, I have an opportunity to go to school in australia for a semester next winter...Im still torn on the idea, its for like 3 months and as awesome/cool as that is I'v never been away from home for that long, much less on the other side of the world and I'm terrified to think I could get there and find out I dont like it that much. Its also fairly expensive, but my aunt is good friends with the professor thats organizing it...If I do decide to do it I might be attending Mesa Community College in San Diego in the fall to get to know some people that are going on the trip (thats the college thats organizing it) Of course that would mean me dropping some things that I'v worked pretty hard on and not seeing some friends for awhile...but how often do you get an opportunity like that thrown at you?
other update-worthy things, I had a pretty rad time seeing kelly and hanging out with tiffany on friday and then going to the lake with justin/keeleigh on saturday, my cds have gone missing and I'm bummed but I'v gotten some new stuff in the last few days thats pretty good,
Lou Reed - New York is amazing, I reccomend it thoroughly, one of the first and few singer/songwriters that have actually caught my attention.
No Innocent Victim - Tipping The Scales is also good, its like 11 songs in 22 minutes, one of which features Collin of The Deal who I was e-mailing with for awhile after their show here which is kinda cool, I wasnt expecting anything like that on it. Its pretty tough sounding and sports some mean cookie monster singing, I dig it.
I guess thats about it, I keep thinking theres more but its not coming to my mind right now.
