today was an interesting day, kinda bland and somewhat eventful at the same time. Mark and I have been bit by the gambling bug, but were getting off of it, we went last night after the "house show" congratulations on the turnout by the way, just wish everyone wasnt so unenthusiastic, I really miss fun shows, i havent been to one in awhile. What I mean by that is "BACK IN THE DAY" (sorry, i hate that) but like being crammed into the big dipper with a ton of kids, even if the band wasnt great you had fun, I always felt a bit alienated at Rawk shows then but Zao, Rockness Monsters final show, Spoken, Normal, 10 Minutes Down when Murry jumped off the platform with the couches, all of that was so much fun. Even Spokwa shows, the Anti-rawk show, Temporarily Out Of Jesus's singer breaking a lightbulb on his face and reading lyrics off a piece of paper, I miss shows where you never knew what was going to happen, Throw Rag's fat washboard player rubbing his chest and dancing with Shawn Heale and I, the first Sole Warehouse show when the police came and shut it down because there were about 150 - 200 kids there and they were positive Derek Almond's cabaret license didnt cover that many people, so many good memories. Ah well, bitching doesnt change anything, and there are good things going on in spokane so theres no point to anyways. OFF the subject, back to me, mark and I went to quest casino 2 nights in a row, we never know when to walk away and have lost not a huge amount of money, but enough to have empty wallets right now. Its been fun though, other then that we went to Pine River Park today with Don Knittle and Matt Winters, it was the trashiest thing ever and pretty dirty, so we didnt stay long. Still, at least it was doing something. Thats been about it for the last day or two, I'v had some cool conversations with some people that I feel I'm growing closer too and that is something to be cherished...San Demas High School Football Rules!
