wow, were back, my parents are back, finally a moment to relax and not be responsible for anything at all, I even have the week off from work for the shows we arent playing now haha. Heres some updating, saturday was heavenly for me, the line-up was weird yes, but for the situation it was about as good as could be, Belmont did ok, they felt shitty so give them some nice words to cheer them up, they werent prepared for the show but jumped on the bill anyways. Deep Enough To Die is fucking rad, knowing a band on a somewhat friendly basis makes such a huge difference, I do not like 99% of screamo, but I love those guys, they put on a great show and we had a lot of fun hanging out with them this weekend. Syx also are rad guys, Dave the bassist of Syx is Shawn Barrit's alter-ego I swear, they both talk and act the same, and are both badass guys. Syx did a good job, people love them a lot and its cool to see an out of town band have a strong following. There will be more a lot more ambeo/syx action in the future, either here or elsewhere. Anyways, the turnout was good enough that the bands got paid well and thats what really matters. I also had a great time hanging out with people at the show, no listing names, but if you were at the show and think your someone i enjoy hanging out with...you may or may not be right hahaha.
Walla Walla was great, the show had maybe 30 kids which is way less then last time but we were told the underground usually isnt even open on mondays so no one really knew about it, either way we had a lot of fun playing, Deep Enough To Die kicked a lot of butt again, Greg got some "wicked new ink" done on his neck and then removed, being out of spokane was just wonderful. Watch out Hardcore Ink, Greg Daily will be on your cover! Walla Walla is still fun in our book, we'l be back soon Im sure.
So anyways, the last few days have been rad, and im stoked to finally be home and sleep. My highlight for today was buying a wonderful new plastic blue pool from fred meyers, it has fishes on it and everything, Josh witnessed it in its glory. If anyone wants to come to my pool party please r.s.v.p and I will let you know whether you should bring a main dish, salad or desert. HAP-SAUCE!
