yesterday was a complete blast, it started with me going to down to bobfest to pass out fliers, I was supposed to be meeting justin allen but I couldnt find them and ended up hanging out with cassie which was fun, we'v only really hung out at shows a few times, allister and some others, so that was rad. We wandered aimlessly for an hour or two before I had to go to work. I also did a really bad job of wrapping Jeff Hays in toilet paper for their stupid crowd motivation thing, we are a couple. Didnt really notice any of the bands that much, one band played an alice cooper cover, meh, Jeremy's band played (Wide Eyed Wonder) and sounded pretty good, its really mellow though. At some point I left to go to work and got a call right before I got there and didnt have to go in cause things were going really slow which turned out awesome for me, I was going to have to try and get off early to get to our show with endustry on time anyways so that was a relief. After returning to the park to pass out some more fliers and watch a few Eloi songs (even though will decided to shit talk us for no reason at some stupid high school battle of the bands thing, that kid is way immature...and has the hugest gap between his front teeth ever) now im sinking down to his level hahahaha. They were allright though, the only thing that bothers me is everything is way to rehearsed and synthetic looking, watching them shake around I feel like im watching a boy band version of taking back sunday or some other mainstream emo-rock-pop band.
The show at the detour went well for us, everything sounded pretty good I thought, Justin K had to use my guitar which wont stay in tune very well but we played through everything pretty solid and I didnt notice the guitar that much so hopefully no one else did either, the kids there seemed pretty into it and it felt like we were too. Justin B has stepped up a lot on stage presence and Greg wore biker gloves, enough said! Thanks to the Endustry for letting us play, we always have a blast hanging out with those guys.
After we played I headed over to pretty girls make graves with stephanie, tiffany and kelly. Kelly seems really cool shes the only girl I know thats into minor threat and tiger army and all that shiz. Pretty Girls rocked so hard, I love her voice, Jesse and I watched them from the side of the stage, the drummer's triggers are so awesome sounding.
