I have been sick since monday and it's now thursday. I feel less like something nasty on a stick and have had chance to reflect on the weekend and stuff.
black_cat is running about the internet (alright..........her LJ and LHC) saying cute things about me. So now I feel it's important to say a couple of things. First, she is a BABE! Not just awesome hair but a great person. I loved hearing about her Peru trip and her pictures were incredible. Second, her plot with Hollie just made my day even more special. It's so nice to know too, that there's someone close who wants to see me. It's making a lot of difference right now.
I found meeting people with whom my only connection was long hair slightly weird........but............that will take time. Neil gave me a copy of his book, which was lovely of him. I'm now plotting him a return gift from my business - hopefully a waistcoat with a hair friendly back......I'd like to make a longhair front....but I need time to work on the design.
Today I have been out with my vet friend who lives locally. You have to bear in mind that we haven't seen each other in seven years, but it was almost like we never left........ We had a lovely day, and she drove us all over the place looking at garden centres. We stopped on the way back to walk her dog and I feel like the walk blew the cobwebs away a bit. I feel some better tonight although still very tired.
