Literary Evenings...
Tonight we went out to hear Kate Adie speak about her new book, Nobody's Child. She's an amazing person and I enjoyed hearing her very much. I find it difficult to write of the transitory experience - concerts, talks and the like. But I liked it very much and got my book signed. In this one the most amazing thing was the seeing of someone I have really only heard.
After that I have come home to do something I rarely do at night, and that's wash my hair. But my scalp was so itchy, and I'm on at 8.30 tomorrow morning and couldn't bear to leave it any more than that. Yeuch. My skin is really bad again and getting quite scabby.
There is otherwise soup in my head that I must deal with, so I need to go and do some thinking about that.
