My snowboarding adventure 2!

Yesterday I went snowboarding after work with busanna bodypainted  and the Muse.  We went to Highland as usual, and I am injured :(, but fear not my friends...fear not.  It was my first run of the night and it was all man-made snow.  As I went down I took a tumble and jammed my thumb.  I discovered that it is much easier for me to do toes then to do heels.  I had ( Read more... )

snowboarding is like meditation, only with more injuries. isnt snowboarding super? I love it!

Its true, yesterday once I realized how to control the board I found the moment of silence, it was very nice!

The only thing I hear when I strap things to my feet in the snow is me going "ARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!" and the silent prayers I whisper that I won't die a cold, horrific death. I think my daring days are done.

Yes, we could go to Sawatdee again, or there is this coffee/sandwich shop close to my work but that would be extra walking for you as it is on 3rd st and 5th Ave N
But I have my walking shoes on today and its warmer out so I wouldn't mind Sawatdee's let me know.
