What have I done?
So in my silliness today I forgot to bring a lunch this am. "No worries," thought I, "I'll just order something." So at 10:30 I turn to my co-worker and say, I'm getting Davanni's you want to order? She looks at the menu as my other co-worker expresses her undying love for Davanni's and also places an order.
In my great memory I could not leave out Watterflower so on my travels to her desk I also remember the hurt look I have gotten for not including my boss so I ask her as well,
she turns to her daughter who also works with us and says, "(name here) you want to do Davanni's instead?"
I then was told again of the undying affection for Davanni's, the CEO of the company walks by and my boss invites him to share our love of Davanni's. Oh the office love of Davanni's was spread throughout the office this afternoon! My boss looked at me and laughed at me at the note pad, wad of cash and menu in my hand.
"Next time I'm sending an email screw this jazz!"
As the daughter of the CEO comes up to me and orders as well as her father hands her a fiver.
I have gotten no work done since 10:30, now its noon and the order won't be here for an hour...I need a cigarette.
Incedently off topic from that debacle, I miss the real Molly Quinn's...petsnakereggie got me thinking about the old Molly Quinns from his post. "snif" I miss you Bill Watkins!
