Over earl grey latte
Not much luck with CNY shopping yet. I may just end up digging something from my wardrobe that I've never worn yet. I visited the shop Thiang recommended but the cheongsams were kinda over my budget. And I already have something in mind but can't seem to find the perfect one. Next year I shall go hunting for a nice one way earlier!
So was supposed to head home early and go for my run (guffaws) but very reluctantly decided to meet the girls instead. Not because I didn't want to, but because I knew for certain that meeting them would mean I wouldn't be going home early. And I was right. WIth them, there is no such thing as a "quick dinner" haha! We started thinking of plans for our 21st birthdays and it got me excited. I am so excited to turn 21! I won't be having a huge party though, but still it's gonna be fun thinking about what to do.
And something we talked about: how do you know you've found the one? We've decided that it's probably when he makes you feel comfortable enough to be someone you never thought you could be. Like how maybe Y would be able to release her inhibitions and be totally crazy if she met the one hahahaha (not to say that I don't already love her for who she is). She also told me her mom said that I was lucky to have Jeremy, cos he keeps me sane. Otherwise I would probably be quite the havoc girl. I've never really thought of it that way, but I guess it's true haha.
They also shared their fortune teller experiences with me, which seemed freakily accurate! Kinda makes me wanna go get my fortune told too, just for the fun of it. I don't know, I guess I'm still at a point in my life where I need some directions. Today in ESL we were discussing "events that jolt you out of your inertia in life" and it got me thinking. Sometimes ESL classes can get so deep I swear.
