It's written in the stars~

Clearly I am bored, because I usually don't give astrology any thought at all.

I've been looking through the different signs, and while I'm still not sure at all, I suspect the movieverse incarnations might be Aries (Holmes) and Libra (Watson).

According to this site, this is what an Aries/Libra relationship would be like:

Libra and Aries? Yes and no, maybe yes, maybe no... stars seem to be undecided, too.

It is sure that Libra and Aries are 180 degrees apart on the zodiac circle, which means you are opposite signs. The attraction between you two at first sight is ardent, remarkable, fatal. Generally, though, the relation encounters many difficulties later. There are more strong points than weak points, but the weak ones are essential.

You, dear Libra, are the sign of partnership (of any kind: marriage, family, friends, associations) while Aries is the sign of initiative. This should end with "until death parts us". But this is where the problems start, too: Aries, headed towards action, has the impression that Libra avoids reality, and when the charm of the beginning is over, you will think Aries is a little too impertinent, rude and unkind.

Libra's desire is to find inner balance, harmony and peace. Aries needs to discover new worlds, Columbus (or Picard) is written on his forehead, (s)he is restless until (s)he finds something new to deal with. Moreover, although not very faithful himself/herself, Aries demands complete faithfulness from his/her partner. Aries cannot forgive too easily Libra's hesitation in getting more involved in their relation. The physical relation, as in most cases of "attraction of the opposites", is fantastic, but what remains afterwards?

Seems pretty accurate? I'd love to hear other's thoughts on this.

As for the bookverse, I'd say it leans more towards Aquarius (Holmes) and Cancer (Watson).

Cancer and Aquarius? You are so different that only with a great effort (especially from you, dear Cancer!) you'll make the relationship work. Aquarius is an Air sign, and you are a Water sign: two elements that don't stay together too much and they never mix.

Aquarius is a sort of "science man" of the zodiac: (s)he is inclined towards research and technology, and (s)he is guided by reason in everything (s)he does: love itself is rational to an Aquarius. And as you are guided first of all by intuition and feelings, your reactions can be very different in similar situations. As a Water sign, you have a certain instinct in relating to people, an instinct that Aquarius doesn't have and doesn't understand. It's not something that can be felt, seen, smelled, analyzed.

Aquarius can seem (and often is) a little distant, cold and... (s)he doesn't seem to get involved as much as you do or as you would like him/her to. You were probably very attracted to his/her mysterious look, but you will soon discover that it isn't just a way to seduce: this is how Aquarius is, mysterious. And no matter how hard you try to understand what happens in his/her soul, you'll always have the impression that there is an invisible barrier, beyond which you cannot pass.

This Air native loves adventure too much to stay at home: Aquarius hears the song of sea maids more often and (s)he follows it. And "home" is the place you enjoy the most. Aquarius is very independent, and this will hurt you, because it will increase your feeling of insecurity (that is characteristic of many Crabs) and your jealousy.

Hm. That doesn't sound very promising. Perhaps I should try different signs?

(For some reason, Libra/Aquarius is apparently a brilliant combination. Movie!Watson/book!Holmes, anyone?)
