I worked today.
I can't believe I let Ben post twice in a row. That hasn't happened since the first two entries of this journal.
(When I wasn't even aware of its existence.)
We had Jazz practice Friday after school, which was cool, cause it was only an hour and 15 minutes, and VWzz ordered pizza (which we were supposed to get at the middle school performance thing and never did). At 4:30 the pizza guy came, and we played Manteca as VW paid him. (Or some other song.)
It must be cool to be a pizza guy when delivering to strange places. He probably rarely gets to see high school jazz bands during practice. On the flip side, though, pizza guys can be easily tricked into an ambush. Or a surprise party.
The 42nd Street pit music came in on Friday, too. I'm playing either reed one or reed two, which should be good. If you ignore the fact that I'll probably have to sit next to a professional guy, who will be much better and correct me and think I suck. Probably.
