I've had this sitting on my HD for months because I kept meaning to expand it, but I think it's destined to be a shortfic.  Given that there's a lull (again) in OC ficdom now seemed as good a time as any to post it.

I just realized I still owe you comments on your two other stories. Yeah, no excuses there. I'll get to it- sooner rather than later!

I confess to knowing nada about half of this crossover, but that didn't matter at all. You blended the characters seamlessly and made the narrator someone I could relate to and whose voice and perspective I really enjoyed.

Pepper's take on Ryan is spot-on in many ways, and not only because she's done her homework. You've created some very engaging dynamics and used the personalities well. You know I'm no T.T. fan, but her eccentricities seem to serve as both a complement and effective distraction that allows for more introspection and silent communication from Ryan and Pepper.

I like the rhythm you've adopted for this. The pace works very well and I found myself using the pauses to full advantage for even more contemplation and reflection.

Since I wasn't sure what to expect, other than to appreciate your writing on its own, I really enjoyed the dynamics and the characterization.

Thanks for lunchtime read that was far more entertaining than what I wanted to ignore!

Tony and Pepper's canon relationship (at least in the beginning) largely involved Pepper running around cleaning up after her boss's escapades. Sound familiar?

And yes, in this fic Ryan is primarily married to Taylor so that he and Pepper have something to bond over.

Oh, yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. That scenario sounds very familiar. Seems as if Ryan and Pepper have lots to bond over. (Their eccentric spouses can do lunch, or whatever eccentric spouses do.)
