Scott is in San Francisco. In the course of mischief and abandon, we went to Haight Ashbury (you'd judge) and I found a copy of Naked Lunch on the ground. Inside were several penned pages neatly removed from a Mole Skine (or such) which I have transcribed below.
I am writing. Nothing to say, etc.. I blame the Pope (personally) and will have that bastard on the end of a rope if I'm worth two cents. If I don't get to the little gimp, TU certainly will. Yes, it's only a matter of time before instantaneous proximity to all brothers will gives little fascist minds as thorough and their oppressive dogma a little neural enema - sweet, soothing wash into he=she=me. I'm holding my breath, which is probably not entirely healthy, but it will prevent my attn from wandering. Definitely time for the Lion to approach Little Popey, with a nice long pole, into which the prick will slip, from hole to hole. If When he comes, the perverted residue will be stored as a mueseum piece, to remind us our monkey days. Until that Hatted Dork gets his, along with those Reformist rejects, we will probably enjoy an ongoing wince from Spiritual Prince Alberts.
This provokes many questions. For instance, who is TU? What is the Pope to be blamed for? Who is the Lion? Does Little Popey refer to the Pope? And who is the Hatted Dork? What are these Reformers, and why do we feel so strongly about them? Edit: On review, I'm reasonably certain Little Popey and the Hatted Dork refer to the Pope, and the Reformists to the Protestant Reformation. The second page scatteredly outlines the following scene.
man in a crowd (well dressed) stands on overturned car and (yells) above the roar "You! Cops! Officers of the Law! Tonight, although you uphold the "law" you are on the wrong side of justice. Throw down your weapons and join us and I will gaurantee you a legal job in my company that pays more than double what you're making now. Of those who continue this stupid charade, many will die. Please take your time."
The page between thise two had a suscipicious triangle-shaped hole. Again, more questions. Please discuss.
