In case I haven't told you, I am now working at Logitech. I got a 3-6 month temp job here doing Quality Assurance on their website. I sit in a cubicle for 8 hours and poor over Logitech.com trying to find things that are wrong with it. If you've ever seen Office Space, that is very much my job so far. I drive to work early in the morning at the same time as several hundred thousand other people in the area; it takes me about 40 minutes to get here (Logitech is in Fremont) from home. I fill out reports that begin with three capitol letters and I can hear the receptionist answering the phone every time it rings. In the three days I've been here I have spoken with an average of 2 people a day for an average of 10 minutes each conversation. Human interaction is very low. I did however get to pick out my own keyboard mouse combo; they seem to have enough of the darn things everywhere. Then I drive home in very similar conditions to my drive here. Traffic sucks, I will look into taking Bart/Bus which maybe cheaper the way gas is going up everyday.
I am not particularly unhappy so far, but it has only been three days. The work is not really that hard or tedious; yet. But I do miss my old job already, this is certainly nowhere near as fun. Hopefully when my paycheck arrives this will all be worth it. Until later.
