I just watched Devour; I was a bit wary 'cause I'd heard it was shit but you know, for the love of Jensen and all that.
Ok. It wasn't shit. It was really good actually and I totally enjoyed it. I wasn't bored at all (which tends to happen to me when I watch movies) and yet all I can say is...

Storyline/Plot: Really interesting actually.
However it wasn't a "oh that totally makes sense" thing when the truths started to come out.
Good twist though, Jake being the spawn of Satan though. That was intriguing.
Wtf? things: The ending. Seriously?????? Omg what a fucking great way to leave it. Now Jakes gonna either spend the rest of his life in jail or kill himself before they say so *shakes head*
Also I totally called Marisol being involved somehow but I was still all "Wait, WHAT????"
She turns out to be "Anne Kitson" yeah? The Devil/Demon/Satan right? So... she's Jakes' mother and he made-out with, on several occasions, with his MOTHER????? Seriously? Wtf?
What is awesome though: The Dakota/Jake sex-scene. Yes I know! I'm completely aware I can't keep my mind out of the gutter longer than 10 minutes but I can't help it. That was a fucking hot scene!
Very well done and extremely sexy too. It's hard to make film/tv sex scenes erotic but when they get it right, oh boy! Is it right!
With the Dakota/Jake scene, they could have made it all flesh-y and show-y and gratuitous, and gotten Dominique Swain's tits out and made a big deal out of it (like they did with the couple Conrad offed) but they didn't. They kept it short (enough to make me want it longer), clothes stayed on, camera focused solely at shoulder level and still had an impact.
A lot of props to both Dominique & Jensen though. Making it that hot.
I read a quote or something from an actor at some point, about acting out sex-scenes. It might have been SMG talking about the Spuffy sex and/or Cruel Intentions? I dunno, anyway; She said something along the lines that it might be acting but they're still showing a very intimate side of themselves. Revealing something very personal.
Ok backing away from the deep meta and back to shallow waters *g* It was still pretty fucking hot. The was they moved together, even though you could only see their shoulders and above, the sounds, oh god the sounds Jensen made.
You hear that; that's my brain short-circuting. Nrrrgh.
Overall: I enjoyed Devour and I found it very interesting but seriously? What the fucking fuck?
