Phew, what a long day! Way longer than I expected it to be. But it was really enjoyable and really good. It was like, 80% lining up, which gets real old, real fast, but other than that it was all right.
Mark Sheppard was a delight! I got his autograph first and he is just lovely. Complete smart-ass though, lol. He asked the spelling of my name and I pronounce the letter ‘Z’ ‘zed’ and he’s like ‘Oh you mean Zee?’ Lol, such a troll.
His panel was totally brilliant and hilarious as well. He was so engaging and friendly and fun to listen to. He told a lot of great stories and poked fun at us , the works. One of my favourites though when he told us, apparently there was a shot Supernatural didn’t use when Death was introduced in Season 5. You know how Death had the big Cadillac, well, Mark said the licesnce plates read “Buh * Bye”. Lmao! How brilliant is that!!!!
Alaina Huffman was such a sweetheart! She is so gorgeous as well. Lol, she had trouble spelling my name , why, I don’t know. Not something I come across so often with one of the most popular girls name *shrug*. Anyway, we made small talk and she has the loveliest smile. And pretty hair. It was red now, and long. Like I said, gorgeous woman! So yay, I have a signed picture of Black Canary.
And while I didn’t get an autograph from him, I saw Callum Blue (he was sitting at the table next to Alaina) and yes, he did look as delicious as usual. He looks so yummy in a suit!
The line for Kevin Conroy’s signing took forever! But it was still great! I got him to sign a Timm/Dini Animated-verse Batman graphic novel. So, Yay! He is 100% my favourite non-comic Batman. And he was nice too, a bit tired I think but still very nice.
I was a little bummed I didn’t get to catch up with
sarlania like I hoped we’d get the chance to. I hope you and your friends had an awesome time, and again tomorrow as well =D
And
virtual_toast! I saw you in the auditorium but I don’t think you saw me. If you did see a lunatic in a superman tee waving at you like a dickhead, that was me. Lol! Your Kaylee outfit looked awesome btw.
Lastly, I met a really nice guy in the line waiting for Kevin Conroy. He was super cute and I was enjoying flirting (well my awkward version of it at least) with him until an obnoxious douche he knew, from a club they’re in together, I think, joined the queue behind us and really put me off and I went quiet. I was far, far too shy to but I should of asked him to go for texting and scones sometime. Stupid me, he was into Batman, DC comics and Doctor Who. I don’t know if he knew how much his friend cockblocked him, hell, I don’t even know if I piqued his interest but he did give me some info and stuff to join the Doctor Who fanclub he runs, so maybe I’ll have another chance….
So, yeah, now I'm buggered and have to work tomorrow (yuk!), and have to study (more yuk) but I get to go to my orientation next Thursday (yay!).
