Shit, an update? Really?
Blah. I feel blah and in a bad mood in general all the time. I think I'll take tomorrow off (even though I shouldn't) and sleep and try to do some diligent work on the pracs I have due on Monday.
In other news;
My stance on Bin Laden's death is that I'm not cheering but I do think our world is better off without him.
I had to say that so I could get past that and share a lol with you guys; saw this on tumblr and it amused me greatly and I know a lot of you would like it too.
In other, other news; TV! Thoughts will be short because I didn't write my thinky thoughts right after watching this week.

Smallville:
I love this trope!!!!
Seriously, War World is one of my favourite Justice League eps.
Loved Ollie and CLark fighting but it being twisted around that it was the plan all along! ♥ ♥
And Zod! He annoyed me for most of Season 9 but I enjoyed him in this ep. S9 annoyance was probably from overexposure *shrugs* But Callum was fantastic and I love the idea that Kandorian!Zod and Phantom!Zod have fused. That's brilliant! And scary. But also brilliant!
Lois & Tess' scenes were great as well. Tess trying to do what she and Clark thought was 'the right thing' and Lois all, 'nuh-uh, have a little more faith'. Loved it because neither one was in the wrong and deep down Tess knew Lois was right as well or she wouldn't have backed down. Yes, Lois had a gun but Tess is too stubborn to back down in the face of that if she strongly believed in it. ♥ both awesome ladies.
T-minus 2 days? But isn't there 3 eps left, one would think there'd be more time?
Supernatural:
Jefferson Starships!!!!!!!!!! I loved that. It's so random and Dean looked so pleased with himself.
Caaaaaaaaaaaas!!! What, What, What are you doing???!!!! Omg, stop being a stupid head.
Also I ♥ the writers so much for giving us so much D/C lols. They literally referred to Cas being in Dean's ass!!! Ahahaha! Yes!
And omg, the diner scene when Cas lost his powers. Aw poor bb Cas.

Dean: ????
Eve was badass. I liked her. But I also love how clever Dean was in killing her. That was nicely done.
I am looking forward to the climax of the souls/Crowley/Cas situation.
Doctor Who:
Omg!!! Words cannot express how hardcore my shipping for this show has risen to.
Amy/Rory and River/Doctor are owning me at the moment.
Mark Sheppard was brilliant of course! ♥ him.
The Silents were creepy as fuck (and twitter continues to creep me out b/c Mark Gatiss insists on having a Silent as his dp) and their demises was orchestrated so fantasticly, idek. More brilliance!!!!!
And when Rory broke that little bit off the Apollo model, I laughed so hard and long at that, that I gave myself a headache. Honestly, I'm still laughing at that. My sis asked me what I was laughing at and I could only croak out "Rory!!" ♥_♥
And jfdsfjs;a;a;;ak Amy/Stupid-face aslsljdslfdjd. Love love love them. And the little bit of exposition on what Rory remembers. I love him remembering pretty much most of human history.
And River/Doctor!!!!! *keyboard mash* I can't even, ;lalkjdsjhfd;kl KISS!!!! She kissed him and he didn't know what to do with himself and omg, their flirting and omg River why are you such a badass!!! And he likes that she's such a badass!!!! a;lfjsjdlsl;s' I need help. These two have destroyed my brain with the BAMF and the adorableness and the epic flirting and she yells at him during a fire fight and he whinges when she won't let him drive and and and and...
And this was only ep 2, will I survive another 11 eps?
And I've been experimenting!!! With comics I mean. I'm trying out Marvel *cue gasp of shock and horror* 0_0
I know! but I though, why not branch out, I might find more characters to love.
I've started off with stuff I know I'd like though, playing it safe. X-Men and all those involved in the Avengers feels too big for me to dive right into. Hell, I didn't dive directly into Batman either. I started off small.
So, I started with the Young Avengers.
I figured they would be a safe bet, because I know I like slash, and since Wiccan/Hulkling (Billy/Teddy) are all over my dashboard all the time, so I know they're canon. And I tend to lean towards Teen Superheroes in general, so I thought that it'd be a good place to start.
And it was! I love it! They're awesome!! I've read volume 1 & 2 now and they're fantastic. As suspected I'm loving Billy/Teddy, but I'm also loving Patriot (Eli) and Hawkeye's (Kate) chemistry and I'm shipping them a little too. Stature (Cassie) is super cute and such a sweetheart. And I'm a little sad Kang didn't get to stick around 'cause bb!Kang was cool.
Vol 2 was really good, getting the origin stories (that not even they knew either!) was really cool. Especially Teddy's. Although, Billy and Tommy's confuse me still. Was it like a reincarnation or did they both just pop into existence and their parents all of a sudden had memories of them? I don't really get it.
But I am going to be picking up the next volume asap.
