The not so great things;
+I really, really hate my job right now and I'm so mad at my bosses. They've taken my Sunday shift off me and even asked me to give my key back. Honestly, I'm not fighting them about it because I'm just too tired of arguing with them. I can't even manage to muster up the indignation I should have. I'm just biding my time until someone else will hire me *sigh*
+Hercules hips are pretty much giving up on him. He needs help getting up sometimes and he's very unsteady. On the bright side, he has good days and bad days; Saturday was a bad day but both Sunday and Monday were good days! And my sis talked to the vet-nurse about it and she prescribed him some anti-inflammatory pills, which a lot of German Shepherds are on, given that spinal degeneration is so common. But overall he's doing better which is a Good Thing.
Awesome things;
+My Project with Uni is really coming together. The other girls and I got together with our supervisor and we went through what we'll be doing and I'm really excited about it. Basically we'll be looking to see if there's a certain protein (Retinol-binding protein) present in Marsupial blood which involves another protein (Transthyretin (TTR)) and also touches into evolution and genetic variation, which Hello! Awesome! I'm totally in love with evolution and I'm so lucky because Sam (my supivisor) is one of the people that has been studying these 2 proteins for ages.
+Sherlock. Oh my dear Chuck! it's so unfair that there's not going to be more right now!!! I have to download the 3rd ep tonight but holy crap this is a freaking good show. Watson is all kinds of adorable and I love how in the the first ep he was all like o_O most of the time. And Sherlock. Holy crap could he be more awesome. He's smart and (unintentionally) funny and awesome and and and
I love how he picks on the cops for his own amusement and he has the best insults ever. I liked what they did regarding his sexuality. The most he said was along the lines of women weren't his thing but the overwhelming impression I got was that it was irrelevant because that kind of interaction/situation was utterly beneath him. I don't know why yet, but I think that's incredibly awesome.
I don't ship it at the moment but I think it's because they've only just met and there isn't that bond there is in the other interpretations (?)/mediums(?) (What's the word I'm looking for there?) But it does have potential and I really, really, hope that this isn't the last we see of it.
