I figured it out

So I was watching Grey's last night right? 'Cause of my addiction and all. And for those of you that don't watch (even though you won't know who the character's are) there's this situation currently going on on the show where Meredith has to decide between McDreamy and McVet. These types of situations ALWAYS happen, on this type of show, I realize that, so when it did on Grey's, I'm thinking, ok, typical thing, she'll chose the one that's not the audience favorite (McVet, or Finn, actually being played by Chris O'Donnell, hadn't seen him doing anything in YEARS), hence, dragging out the "destined" relationship between her and audience favorite McDreamy (*drool*), only to finally get together somewhere close to the series finale. Like the whole Ross and Rachel thing. However, I was pleasently surprised. She didn't chose either of them. Instead of making a fast decision on something that could affect her likfe in a serious way, she tells them she's going to DATE them and make her decision later.

We don't do this nearly enough anymore.

Dating, I mean. Honestly, maybe it's just the people that I know, but what the hell happened to dating?? I don't know anybody that just dates. And it's not a bad idea. Dating is a good thing. Yes, it can get complicated by jealousy, physical stuff and what not, but if you either handle the physical stuff or restrain from it and realize that if you're getting jealous, then maybe that's a clue to just be with them, dating can work! It can help you actually figure out what you really want in a person without a whole big mess rather than just going through a series of failed relationships until you happen to finally figure it out. That's my theory.

People should date more.

Random hilarious quote from the show last night that a good bit of my friends will appreciate I think: "Robin, he just marches into the Batcave, like, here I am, give me some tights, I'm gonna borrow your towel."
