Football and video games
All together, an uneventful couple of weeks really. Although there are two highlights: 1. FOOTBALL SEASON!!! Don't worry, I wont go on and on with in-depth analysis of our team and the pro-football that I watch (I've already done it in my head) but I will say that I am so veeeeerrrry happy that it is football season once again. And we may actually beat state this year! *fingers crossed* It's my last football season here.....that's oddly depressing to me. I actually feel like I'm going to miss going to the grove. Oh, and as for pro, the Steelers WILL kick ass once again, mark my words. :D. And get this....we have the NFL channel!! Seriously! An entire channel on our digital cable devoted to NFL. I was quite excited. Between that and ESPN I feel like a total guy when I watch tv...
2. I love the fact that Kirby still has her super nintendo AND still has her Donkey Kong Country game. I played that game for hours on end when I was a kid aaaand I'm starting to again. Yeah, me and Kirby have been whooping some serious ass on that Donkey Kong game. Procrastination anyone? :D.
Ok, just occured to me, between the NFL stuff and the video game stuff....I sound like a guy in this post....
As for school stuff, I have a surprising amount of motivation so far. Maybe it's the fact that I'm taking so many hard classes that I know that if I don't have the motivation that I'll fail...and I don't want to do that my senior year. Product of the motivation: I feel surprisingly comfortable with my first biochem test.
