Shore Leave - Chris Judge, Cliff Simon
Another Shore Leave has come and gone, and it was just as fantastic as it's always been! The Shore Leave folks always get a wide ranging lineup of guests, and the guests all make a point to say how much they love it there and how well run it is. It's all very relaxed, and the guests can often be found wandering through the halls, outside smoking, or hanging out in the bar. This year we had Chris Judge and Cliff Simon from SG1, Tricia Helfer from BSG, Eddie McClintock from Warehouse 13, Emilie Ullerup from Sanctuary, Sally Kellerman and Gary Lockwood from ST:TOS as well as big screen movies, and John de Lancie from...everything. *g*
Chris Judge is a HUGE Big Bang Theory fan. Seriously, he has a whole scenario thought out to get himself on as a guest star in which he starts out dating Penny (who can't figure out why Sheldon and Leonard are so excited about it) and ends up in a bathtub with Sheldon. "That's not my symbiote."
On Sunday, someone asked about his most funny/outrageous con experience. He told us all about the time at Dragon Con when he learned about furries. *g*
At the end of the con, each guest is presented with the con mascot - Gene Roddenbunny - which is always a big fluffy bunny...except in this one instance. Somehow Chris ended up with a baby bunny. He told the bunny he would take good care of him, and someday when he grows up, he'll take him to Dragon Con. ;D
Cliff Simon is lovely and charming, and started his career in swimming, gymnastics, and dancing. He danced at the Moulin Rouge!
Question: What were your favorite scenes to film on SG1?
Cliff: When I got to kiss Claudia Black.
