I watched the third Cupid episode last night, and I ♥♥♥ this show so much. I saw that there's a poll up on Sony's web site where you can vote on TV DVD releases, and Cupid is on the list. Not only that, it has the most votes. Of course, that doesn't seem to matter, because some of the other shows on the list are on the upcoming releases list, while Cupid is not. *pouts* Seriously, there are moments where JP makes me LOL, and then moments where I just want to hug him. And then there was Joe. That final scene had me flailing once again. I may have moaned.
I am constantly surprised and amazed by the various LIMS contests out there. Sometimes what I think is really good gets resounding boos from the other voters. And sometimes the ones that are my least favorites get yays from everyone else. 'Tis very weird. I myself almost got voted off the
johnrodney_lims island this week with this entry:
and I'm not really sure what's wrong with it that it received such negative marks. Of course, I haven't received the feedback from the voters yet, but I'd love it if some of you would give it an honest critique.
I also find it interesting - and a bit disconcerting - that graphics can look so different on different monitors. I have new flat screens both at home and at work, and things look pretty much the same on both, if a wee bit darker on the office monitor. Things seem to look sharper and more defined on the new laptop, and when I've viewed things on friend's laptops and/or older monitors, they can look wildly different. So while something might look fine on my screen, I'm never quite sure what other people are seeing.
