So, thanks to the heads-up from
kwerkee, I Tivo'd The 411 yesterday, which featured a small snippet on SV hitting it's 100th ep. There were shots of filming on "Lexmas", and short interview clips with MR and TW. I've transferred it to my PC, and have attempted to convert it from Tivos proprietary format to something that I can edit to just get the SV part of the show uploaded for y'all. BUT, the program I have to convert from Tivo format is apparently not quite right, as the resulting file - which is supposedly mpeg2 - blows up any editing software I try to load it into.
Has anyone had any luck converting TiVo files to something workable? If so, I'd love to know what you used.
The holidays are in full swing here at Chez Beeej. The halls are decked, I've baked cookies and made peppermint bark. Go me! Last night I settled down in front of the TV for a night of "White Christmas" and "A Tuna Christmas". I love, love, love Danny Kaye. And a favorite bit from "A Tuna Christmas":
Vera: You know, they say that sheep are gentle, but all three of those sheep have tried to bite Virgil.
Bertha: Well, I guess they've had enough.
Vera: *sigh* I know how they feel...
And gacked from
marcasita, because it must be seen!
Best Christmas Lights Display Ever. Don't forget to turn your sound on. :)
Man, the neighbors would kill me if I did that! But damn, I really want to! *g*
