Fiona is a delightful character - I can imagine her all colourful in a black and white photo, totally out of place where she is in the back of beyond. Edinburgh would totally suit her where she can spread her wings and be herself. I love how she's so at ease with Esca, as if she unconsciously knows he's never going to be interested. But Marcus interests her... I can imagine a part of Esca being proud knowing Marcus wants him - that no matter how pretty the woman, he'd not be interested. But Stew's animosity now makes complete sense. He's like a peacock fluffing up his feathers in a show to scare Marcus off.
I felt bad for Marcus, believing that Esca was with Fiona - clearly Marcus is completely smitten and he must have felt devastated - I'm so glad Esca put him right on that score.
And Esca...falling in love... That last paragraph put a HUGE grin on my face!
So yay, roll on half term!
Just loving this. So. much. ♥
