Because I promised to keep you all informed (and also sort of because I wanted to sneak one last entry in here before The-Most-Bee-Update-Filled-Month-Ever ends), just letting you know that it is most likely a no-go on the couple-of-days chapter completion. Last night, my laptop decided things were going a bit too swimmingly and it wanted to shake things up a bit by catching a fierce Java virus and now it has to spend some time with the Tech Doctors (also known as the Geek Squad. Love ma geeks).
There's no need to panic--I have 24 saved in about forty-seven different places in case things like this happen, so nothing's been lost--but considering my employers generally frown upon my writing Commentarius in lieu of actual work (I know. Selfish. So selfish), I'm grappling a bit until my laptop comes home to me. Hopefully that will be tomorrow or Saturday. In the meantime, I have pulled out my trusty old notebook and am attempting to finish the chapter by hand (What is this world coming to?). It's actually quite entertaining. I get to look back at all my old writings and really poor attempts at outlines for various chapters that are mostly just letters, slashes, and arrows. Is that supposed to mean something? Organization, whaa?
But never fear, we are still looking at a quickly-approaching update. But what would one of those be like without some nice, Bee-Life-Drama to spruce it up? At least no one's limbs have been left charred this time. Yet.
EDIT: And we're back! Though they had to wipe the whole thing, unfortunately. Now I have to reload all my data and programs. *headdesk*
