I finally started getting paid for my teaching job. Damn... wow... I could get used to this. (Sure it all flies away almost immediately into rent and bills, but I think I will be ok until July now... which means that I can definitely come to Peterborough for the first half of the summer which is the best thing ever

I surely will check it out. This issue came up in class with one of my students (quite rightly) raising the point of how slash in a way is an utter objectification of the gay male experience. Oh man, the complexities of identity politics....
