Help!
I am in desperate need of a vacation… I need to get away with my child and be someplace other then my home. I want to bask in his glory away from the daily grind and
preferably by a pool with some umbrella drinks
a nice lavish hotel with a fabulous pool(s)
when it’s hot (July, August)
and even though it’s summer there aren’t bratty kids at the hotel pool
and the restaurants near by are really yummy and laid back
the flight must be non-stop, short and cheap(er) - say $300 or less
and am I asking for too much if I add that I’d like to stay in the same time zone
I wanted to do Arizona but it’s not a short flight, there is a time change and I hear it’s too hot. I don’t know why, but I have always wanted to go there.
Any places on the East Cost that you ladies can think I need to see. Georgia? Charleston? Would prefer to avoid pricy places like Martha’s Vineyard.
I didn’t want to do Florida but I found a lovely hotel in Fort Lauderdale that changed my mind… then my mom reminded me we have family there and I do not want to see family other wise it’s a trip and not a vacation.
I will be flying alone since Fred said he doesn’t want to vacation with my mom and she’s coming. What’s a vacation without my personal nanny?? Hence I’d like to avoid a long flight or a flight that is expensive since I might get him his own seat. It also means that we have to go on a separate getaway… not that I would normally complain about going away but it cuts into my vacation days that I had allotted to using this summer to just hang out with Graycen in the city.
