Wow, long time no update. Anyway, I felt the need to update at this point, because I actually have some things to say. I've been having a really great last 1/2 of summer, now that things are worked out, and I've been hanging out with Aimee, Andrew, and Natalie, which has been ridiculous amounts of fun. I'm excited to be in Cuarto, Emerson no less...having a hot tub = tightness. However, one of my suitemates is absolutely ridiculous. She honestly is a room-mother in training. I got an email from her again today planning out everyone's situation. Tidbits:
Okay, I saw some fridges that fit the requirements for the dorms and it is absolutely impractical to jus thave 2 for all 6 of us. Quynh and I have already made arrangements to have a fridge, microwave, and tv in our own room. So I think all of y'all should decide between you and your respective roommate whether you think you'll need a fridge, microwave, and/or tv in your room.
Tight way for her to micro-manage all of the other pairs. She probably thinks she's cool because she's "helping" us plan. Little did she know Evelyn (my roommate) and I had long since worked this out. Anyway, I don't know if I'm making this out to be more ridiculous than it is, but this isn't the first management-style email that I've recieved from her. I'm sure she's really nice though, just wants to get things up and running.
So...Natalie, Aimee and I went to the BrowBar yesterday at the Benefit counter at Macy's. Too bad it was neat, minus the ridiculous woman who did it, who was giving herself pats on the back the whole time. But, I'm happy with the result, mostly because I'm WAY too lazy to do my eyebrows. Anyway, that's all for now...
