I was watching Fox News Saturday, which i don't do often enough these days.  It is of course silly to take Fox News seriously, but I really enjoyed this particular moment.

I had just finished watching their stock show which features financial advice every week from (no joke) a retired pro wrestler and the guy who played Trapper John from MASH.

I remember Chuck F***ing Woolery. And it's true that game show hosts are a dying breed, at least now that the days of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" and "The Weakest Link" are over. That said, it seemed like any game show host now would just be a stand-up comedian moonlighting (and this is where the Jeff Foxworthy jokes start).

And good call in connecting the dots between Woolery, Victoria Jackson, Michael Medved and Jerry Doyle. I fully expect to see Wink Martindale get his own Fox slot soon. Or maybe Gary Burghoff.
