In case you wondered (and you didn't), or just putting it here for my own gratification.
Saluki Dawgs (10-3, Lost in the Fantasy Super Bowl)- Did a lot of things right with this team, and it rewarded me up until the last week when my opponent's QB (Cam Newton) ran all over me. I made a lot of choices I am proud of - Arian Foster over Chris Johnson. Matt Stafford at QB, Darren McFadden, Hakeem Nicks and Brandon Marshall. Rob Gronkoswki as TE. Darren Sproles a late round pick up at Flex (After fantasy owners and the Chargers seem to underestimate him)
Iowa Caucuses (8-6, first round playoff loss)- This is the team I drafted in abstentia though I did give clear orders what I wanted. I hoped that my fantasy football formula would like Moneyball, inspire a movie with Brad Pitt playing the role of me. Instead, it served mewel enough to get to my playoffs, but bounced out when I got there. Not being there, i got some underrated players, which was equally good (Eli Manning) and not-so-good (Steven Jackson). This team also had Arian Foster, who was so good this year that he won at least a couple of games on his own. The downfall of this team was having too many eggs in one basket. I am not convinced that is entirely a bad thing, but it is when that basket is the 2011 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
