The WWE (err... make that the
WWE) hosts their biggest annual event of the year tomorrow night.. Wrestlemania.
For the trainspotting fan (of a few who come here), here's what you need to know:
-Many of the biggest stars of (*gulp*) 15 years ago are back - The Rock will be "hosting" (and likely in some sort of action), Trish Stratus will be wrestling and Stone Cold Steve Austin will be hosting Tough Enough on USA immediately after.
-Vince always brings the celebrity. Keri Hilson will sing the national anthem, and Snookie from Jersey Shore will be in a six-person mixed tag team match. Hey, don't laugh. Donald Trump appeared at Wrestlemania and he's about to be nominated for President of the United States.
-The Undertaker puts his 18-year undefeated streak up against Triple H in a no-disqualification match.
-
164-time champion Jerry Lawler (who was wrestling before I was born. I am 36.) makes his Wrestlemania debut against commentator Michael Cole.
Oh, and if you need them (and I am
not making this up), here are the odds from mid-week from premier betting site Bodog. com.
Randy Orton (-285) vs. CM Punk (+205)
Jerry Lawler (-1500) vs. Michael Cole (+750)
Rey Mysterio (+130) vs. Cody Rhodes (-160)
Trish Stratus, Snooki, & John Morrison (-1400) vs. Michelle McCool, Layla, & Dolph Ziggler (+700)
Sheamus (-255) vs. Daniel Bryan (+185)
The Miz (+160) vs. John Cena (-230)
The Undertaker (-1200) vs. Triple H (+600)
Alberto Del Rio (-500) vs. Edge (+350)
Hey, if it wasn't real, there wouldn't be betting on it, right? Suck it haters. Although, if
Freddie Prinze Jr starts laying down million dollar bets and they all hit, then, ok, I even i will admit that something might be up.
