[accidental video/optional action] you love that vicar more than words can say

[Unless he offers himself up for a dinner date, it's unlikely anyone will really see Raphael eat again. At least, not to such a great extent-- there's the wrappings from a fair few dozen small chocolate bars, suckers, tart candies, and so on scattered on the carpeted floor and couch, and he's busying himself indelicately with a popcorn ball at the ( Read more... )

[Oh, this is fantastic. He swallows, clearing his throat.]

Not... not exactly.

... No.

[rubbing his forehead, unseen, debating with a real lack of vigor] Any plans for Halloween, Jill?

Well, I've never really celebrated it so... I ogled Lucy's costume for a little bit and now I'm... really boring, as usual.

You?

We don't celebrate it at home either, so unfortunately I'm at a bit of a loss myself.

[a pause, perhaps out of a vague sense of guilt-- this is so embarrassingly toned-down it's hardly a comeon. But he's playing it safe and starving, and not really for the sweets he's devoured already.] Come with me shopping? I've almost run out of candy for the people dressed up, I need to buy some more before it gets dark.

[After the last several days, Jill is almost positive that stepping outside on this night of all nights is a bad idea. But at the same time, obviously people are still trick or treating if Raphael has been handing out candy. So maybe things are kind of normal again.]

It's weird how quickly people get over... craziness, isn't it?

[But she does realize that that's besides the point. Plus she's pretty sure that if anything were to happen, that Raphael could take care of it. She knows he's strong enough. So while she's hesitant, she also thinks it would be okay.] Okay. Want to watch a movie after we buy the candy? I have Rocky Horror Picture Show that I can bring.

It's silly really, a musical about a haunted house kind of. It's just creepy enough to be weird but not creepy enough to make you unable to sleep from watching it.

Where should I meet you?

I've never seen a musical before.

How about at the Fountain?

They're nice. Everyone breaks into song at weird moments. I like it.

Okay, just let me grab my coat and the movie and I'll meet you there.
