Well this is awkward!
So, uh, about yesterday! ...I have no excuse. I woke up to the news of my very own webspace (I know, WHAT THAT IS SO AMAZING AND AWESOME I AM SO HAPPY), which I am still in the process of updating with my art. I also was doing something else yesterday -- something that I will most assuredly abandon, but for now, have page one of a comic! Baby's first multi-pager! This can only end well!
Who knows what will come of this, but here's the first page! I went to...I guess I should call you sodomquake for this, and she took my spindly, bare bones idea and wrote a lovely script for it!! Because she is far too nice and accommodating of me. This is really more an exercise to get comfortable making comics, as its something I've always wanted to do but always shied away from. So I'd love your feedback! Especially from the many of you experienced with making (and selling, yikes, I'm so not there by any stretch of the imagination!), or even just reading comics. I really want to get at least passably good at this! If only so I can draw comics for Busted or other awesomeness that comes from the Lesbians Up North. Yes, I'm a fangirl, I admit it.
Also, as a side note, I have a non-colored version that I'm not sure how I feel about. I think it's kind of pretty on its own, but I want to see what you guys think! After all, if you think this version is more successful, I'll do the rest of the pages like this. As coloring is a major pain (fun, but so long and stressful because durr no save button). But if not, I'd be more than happy to color because I want this to be the best I can possibly make it given my level!

And in the spirit of sympathy_crime art month, strangestquiet has a not-quite entry into the canon of work! I KNOW, I KNOW, IT'S NOT FINISHED NOR WILL IT EVER BE FINISHED, BUT IT'S GORGEOUS AND I'M LINKING IT SO THERE. ...Yes, she did that scene. ;-;
I WILL DO MY BEST TO BE BETTER ABOUT WARMUPS. I feel like such a flake!! Never again, people, never again!!
EDIT: Oh, I nearly forgot! ladysisyphus and I were talking the other day and the topic of livestreams and, while I'm fairly certain it'll just be me and her shooting the breeze, is there an interest from anyone else? If there is I'll...announce it beforehand, I guess? I'm not quite sure! I work murderously slow, but hey! People watch Lost, don't they? jk J.J.
