sometimes i think she just says things to hurt my feelings.
okay, so the run down. now that i'm feeling okay to talk about it. My baby tested positive for downs syndrome on a triple screening test. this test, keep in mind, has a very high rate of false positives. Anyway, we tested positive.I am 1/203, abnormal is 1/270. so i am just barely abnormal. the Dr's appointment was pretty bad. i was all alone, and the doctor made me feel really scared. So, i am getting a 3D ultrasound to check out all of the features of the baby up close to see if there is anything abnormal. if there is, then i will get an amnio done. which, is where they stick a long needle into your belly and pull out the amniotic fluid and do tests on it.
but let's all be sure to know that, it's not from chris' side of the family. that's what his mom had to say. what a jerk, right?
