Work, work, work is all I have been doing lately. 85 hours this week! Its been really busy and tiring, but not really too bad. Valumart is pretty simple. I just water, organize and carry out. Actually, 75% of my time I spend answering questions, talking to people and trying to sell people flowers they don't really want (which I happen to be pretty good at). If I was on 10% commission today I would have made $670!!! I spend about 15% of my time doing the above mentioned custodial activities and the other 10% lounging around and talking with the 17-25 year old female demographic, haha.
The LAB is pretty decent. I think I may hate it once I get going full time, just because I like to be on my own, not being constantly instructed by someone. However, my bosses (a couple) are cool, they encouraged us to drink while tending bar last night, haha. I made a decent haul in tips and got berated by one intoxicated gentleman because apparently I was flirting with his date...whatever. She tipped me $10, lol. I realized I have a good bartending memory. I remember most peoples drinks after one or two rounds, but the odds of me remembering are about 10 times higher if you're female...go figure.
Outside of work not a lot is new really, mostly because all I really do is work. Ebay is good, I have some Jeans coming in this week and I just finished unloading a case of shirts. Ipods are in progress, anyone that wants one be patient. I'm doing my best to hold out until I find a decent supplier in Canada because the number I ship at a time is 50-100, which has a value of over $10000, which means that the duty is massive if I have to cross a border. In the end I'm trying to get them cheaper so I can sell them cheaper, but I have little time to spend on it. If I can't find something in the next week I'm going to ship some in from the states.
If anyone knows how to fix the lighter in a car please tell me because I somehow managed to break mine and I need it to plug in my ipod!
Anyway, I'm out, but stay tuned because in a few weeks I'm going to throw a massive party, around the time you kiddies are getting out of school. Cheers.
