I did not know the fate of yurtle. Rudy the Robot was MINE. Dobbin Gray ended up with John's kids eventually got so rusted that he wouldn't move. I remembered the caymen (bady alligators were really caymen's which is why we have caymen's and gators in the canals.) Luckily he didn't survive they get ever more impossible to handle as they grow.
I don't remember the sliding door at the end of the hall. the shelf I think was mine, made for all my excessive toys. It was in the room with me and grandmother. I thought Mom had assembled it with glue. Lord knows I could be wrong. Many of the things I know from my childhood were from Mom telling me stuff that wasn't right and then laughing at me when I would repeat what ever foolishness. It made me well prepared for the internet age. Remember the dining room table Mom and Dad stained for us? I remember eating around it every night when I was small. I remember Mom and Anne cooking I was too small. Did you cook too? I was more of an eater. I remember eating wheat germ when I was little as a snack. I used to like it too.

She's getting married over christmas. It's a tad ironic that they are with in a mile of Coral Ridge Pres...
I go by the house a couple of times a year. it's still there.
