That was....ugh, perfect. I love this so much...you got Kakuzu's character so nailed down it's incredible. And Hidan and Konan are perfect too...
And also, omfg:

I've been admiring your Kakuzu and Hidan fic from afar for several weeks, and it was you that kind of got me thinking of... maybe a more relate-able side to Kakuzu? so. Gah. YAY! I'm so glad you like my fic too :) This was amazing, seriously...I got chills :D I love writing Kakuzu with a more human side, and I love your interpretation...the backstory you've created for him is now, for me at least, canon.

Never be scared to write for Naruto again...this is about a million times better than most of the fic out there! Alright, I will recc this, because I know a lot of hardcore Kakuzu fans on my flist would completely adore this fic <3

I love authors building fanon off each other. XD I wrote Kakuzu more human because you did it in a way that worked, when I seriously doubted it could - even though I really adored him... and he totally looks like an octopus doesn't he?! I love octopi so much, I had to make reference to it. Ha ha.

I just feel like I have so many intimidatingly cracky ideas o.O Where should I start?! Ahah

But I couldn't write Naruto fic until an injustice happened in canon and made me mad and inspired me... the Zombi combi's fate was that injustice, heh.
