Even more amazing than that, this morning I went to Playa Zoni, which is at the eastern tip of the island. Getting there is.. well... not the easiest thing to do. So, I have rented a big ol' 4WD Jeep Wranger. I drove for what seemed like ages up and down hills and scary narrow roads. I finally came to a little clearing with room enough for maybe 4 vehicles tops. I saw one other jeep. I walked through a cleared section of the bushes and was rewarded by this - a 2 or 3-mile long stretch of beach with a breathtaking view of Culebrita (that's in the picture), a number of cays (one of which is a nature reserve) and St. Thomas off in the distance. I swear, this has to be one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I walked up the shoreline and encountered the owners of the other jeep - a naked dude with dreadlocks and a girl who I suspect was previously naked prior to my arrival. Though she had put her bikini back on, nearby I found a lovely bunch of a coconuts. Although the possibility of returning to here to have sex with someone on a the beach is tempting, I do not know if I can brave those roads again.
