I am listing the 5 most effective things to bribe me with. If you get tagged, your mission is to do the same, then tag 5 or more people. The assumption stands that lots & lots of money is always a good bribe.
in no particular order...
1. Harvey's onion rings. Harvey's is a fast food chain that only exists in Ontario, I'm fairly sure. But it's amazing. They make your sandwiches to order, and the onion rings are to die for. Amy can back me up here.
2. Shopping. I *love* to shop. Anybody who was present at the Moot can back me up on this one. It isn't even just shopping for myself, I love to shop with other people for them. I just love pretty new things and nice clothes.
3. Back rubs. I spent all my spare time in highschool in the drama program being the stage manager. Drama kids=back rubs galore. I still make Amy give me one once in awhile.
4. Austen-fic. My ultimate online vice. Generally very well written. I guess Jane Austen doesn't really attract the "U R so cool" type of authors. Shucks, darn.
5. Chocolate, in all it's forms. Right now I am in love with Rolo ice cream. I've banned it from my house in an effort to lose weight. But I can dream...
I'm not going to bother tagging anybody, as they have already been tagged, most likely.
In other news, please remember that just b/c I'm not updating, doesn't mean I'm not reading. I check LJ daily. Sometimes multiple times daily. I still care about you all. I grumble at my screen on behalf of Stace who has to deal with crazy Cub Scout/Church politics. I am baffled by Rach, who finds Gladiator funny?!? and a good method for cheering herself up. (you do realize he dies at the end, right?). I'm glad that Carla enjoyed her U2 concert, yes it was a long time ago, but she updates about as often as I do. I also have a tendancy to stalk her jewelry site, drooling over all the pretty shiny things.
I'll just close with this public service announcement:
Women of the world! Read 'North & South' by Elizabeth Gaskell, if you haven't already. Once that is accomplished, get your hands on the BBC miniseries by any means necessary (save stealing mine). Eat your hearts out. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
