Hi everybody,
I have not been on line as much lately as I normally am due to real life. I tried to catch up today.
My husband and I went on vacation the week before the 4th. The first vacation we have gone on for YEARS and the only one we have ever gone on by ourselves. We've been married 35 years and I guess this would count as a honeymoon. lol
Went to visit some relatives in Michigan (the weather was lovely) the temperature just right. Then we went to Pidgeon Forge at Tennessee to Dollywood. Had a great time but the temp went into the 100s.
We have been in a draught here in Arkansas but I never realized it was so widespread. Ohio had pretty big rivers that were not even flowing! Just patches of water here and there. The crops everywhere were awful. Worse than ours cause we are able to irrigate. Our crops all have been being harvested about a month early and have been looking good. I hate to think about what our under ground water level is looking like though.
No fireworks for the 4th either cause of the burn ban.
Work is ok but we are expecting our yearly survey and that gets everyone's nerves in an uproar.
My sister in law's tests came back bad again, two more cancer areas in her spine. I am gonna try to spend more time with her.
My boys are doing ok and my grandbabies are great.
Think I am gonna keep close to home for a while and try to keep up with my online friends. Try to post more and give more comments to all the good stories I read. Thanks
